APPLE SPRITE BBQ CHICKEN THIGHS
The mix of apple juice and sprite in this marinade provides a sweet, tangy taste into the chicken thighs. The aromatic chicken rub and the sweet, smoky flavor of the chicken sauce also adds an appetizing taste to this whole dish.

Ingredients:
For Brine:
- 1 cup Water
- 1 cup Apple Juice
- 1 can of Sprite
- 1/2 C Kosher/Sea salt
- 1 T Pepper
For Chicken:
- A package of Bone-in, Skin-on Chicken Thighs.
- Basic Chicken Rub
- Your favorite BBQ Sauce
- Brine
Directions:
1 Prepare the brine by mixing in all brine ingredients.
2 Brine the chicken for at least an hour or overnight.
3 Rinse the brined chicken under cold water and apply some chicken rub onto the bottom of the chicken. Then, place the rubbed chicken inside the BGE smoker and cover with the lid.
4 When the chicken is cooked, dunk the pieces into the BBQ sauce and allow the chicken to absorb the sauce for at least 15 minutes before serving
