Named for the phrase ”right on the money”, the addition of lemon pepper to this rub gives it a zesty zip, perfect for chicken or seafood.


  • 1⁄4 c chili powder
  • 2 Tbsp paprika
  • 2 Tbsp black pepper
  • 1 1⁄2 Tbsp lemon pepper
  • 1 Tbsp onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper


1 Combine ingredients in a small bowl. 

2 Rub onto meat and skin and allow to sit at least one hour before smoking.

Unused portions can be kept in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
